The expected volume of Turkmen gas supplies to Russia in 2023 is about 5 billion cubic meters, as provided for in the previously concluded contract with PJSC “Gazprom”. Deputy Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmengas” Murad Archayev told reporters about this, answering questions following the results of the OGT-2023 conference in Ashgabat, a Turkmenportal correspondent reports. “The contract provides for an annual supply volume of about 5 billion cubic meters. The Turkmen side, within the framework of its obligations under the contract, fulfills them fully, year after year. The contract is being implemented in full and the expected volume of exports of Turkmen natural gas to the Russian Federation for this year is also planned at 5 billion”, - Archayev said. State Concern “Turkmengas” and PJSC “Gazprom” entered into a contract for the supply of Turkmen natural gas to Russia for 5 years in 2019. The contract will be valid until June 30, 2024.
