On October 25-26, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will pay an official visit to the Republic of Turkey. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov informed about this today at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the information program Watan of Turkmen television reported. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the Republic of Turkey is one of the closest partners of Turkmenistan. He noted that in recent years a number of important documents have been signed between the two countries that help strengthen bilateral relations. According to the head of Turkmenistan, the upcoming visit will contribute to the further comprehensive development of Turkmen-Turkish relations based on the historical community and fraternal ties of the two peoples.
