National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, during a working visit to Beijing, in his speeches emphasized the country’s desire to preserve the environment and develop “green” technologies. Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the priority direction of international cooperation of Turkmenistan is to achieve a balance between production and environmental protection, ensuring environmental safety. We are talking about the gradual introduction of modern environmentally friendly and resource-saving technologies, especially in energy, industry and trnsport. Turkmenistan is also actively cooperating in the field of hydrogen energy. At a meeting with the Deputy Federal Chancellor, Federal Minister of Economics and Climate Protection of the Federal Republic of Germany Robert Habeck in Berlin, the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted the opportunities for German companies to participate in hydrogen energy projects and reduce methane emissions. The parties also expressed interest in cooperation in the field of ecology. In this regard, it was noted that Turkmenistan is interested in “green” technologies and German experience in rational use of resources and reducing the carbon footprint of production.
