In St. Petersburg, 153 people simultaneously stood on boards studded with nails and set a world record, writes “MIR 24”. The nail boards used by yoga enthusiasts to train the body and spirit are called “Sadhu boards” or “fire boards.” It is believed that nails act on various active points located on the feet and responsible for a particular organ. Standing on the nails of the Sadhu board supposedly improves health, heals nerves and improves immunity (the benefits have not been proven). Evenly and frequently distributing nails over the surface of the board reduces the risk of injuring your feet to a minimum. The record of standing on nails on the Sadhu board in St. Petersburg is marked with a certificate “For the most massive standing on nails on identical Sadhu boards in the world”. The previous record was set in Perm in 2022, when 100 people stood on boards with nails at the same time.
