Only 55% of the world's population use smartphones - these are the results of a study conducted by the Association of Mobile Operators (GSMA), writes the portal Ferra.ru. 55% is 4,3 billion people. The rest of humanity either does not have mobile phones at all or use push-button models. According to research, 4,6 billion people use the Internet, of which 4 billion use smartphones, the rest use regular mobile phones. Despite the fact that more than 90% of earthlings live in mobile coverage areas, 3,4 billion do not have access to the Internet. These are main residents of most countries in Africa and South Asia.
