The Turkmen Agricultural Institute, summing up the results of the national student hackathon AgriHack, announced the winners. The Grand Prix of the competition was won by the team of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan. The jury awarded two first places to the teams of the Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications and the International University of Oil and Gas named after Y. Kakaev. Three II places were determined - two of them were received by students of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management and one by the team of the Turkmen Agricultural Institute. The five winners who took third place included two teams from the Magtymguly TSU as well as teams from the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management and the Turkmen Agricultural Institute. The winners and runners-up of the competition were awarded diplomas of appropriate degrees and valuable gifts. Encouragement prizes were awarded to four more universities participating in the hackathon. Projects prepared and proposed as part of the competition will be reviewed by the organizers with a view to their further implementation and launch into production. The hackathon allowed us to evaluate the IT knowledge of students: practical skills in developing web services, the ability to use programming languages, the ability to organize and manage digital systems, and freely navigate the modern digital environment, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
