At a meeting of the heads of delegations of Central Asian countries and the Eastern Economic Committee of Germany in Berlin, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited German companies to participate in the creation of an industrial cluster in the city of Arkadag, the State Information Agency TDH reports. National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan and Germany have been cooperating in the field of healthcare and medical industry for more than 25 years. As a result of this cooperation, dozens of medical institutions equipped with modern medical equipment and advanced technologies have been built in Turkmenistan, and thousands of highly qualified specialists have been trained. Taking this opportunity, the National Leader of the Turkmen people expressed gratitude to the German side for many years of cooperation in the field of healthcare and medical industry, and also emphasized that the Turkmen side is ready to further strengthen cooperation with German companies in the field of medicine. “On June 29 of this year, the opening of the new city of Arkadag took place in Turkmenistan. Today we have begun the construction of the second stage of this city. An industrial cluster should become one of its important components,” Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted. The second stage of construction of the city of Arkadag includes the creation of an industrial cluster. In this zone it is planned to build enterprises focused on the production of products from the medical industry, pharmacy and baby food. “In this context, we invite interested German companies to participate in the creation of this cluster,” Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said.
