Culinary experts from the USA and Japan have baked the world's largest cake in the form of a giant donut, writes “Lenta of the Day”. The donut cake, weighing more than 100 kilograms and the size of a newborn baby elephant, is listed in the Guinness World Records. It took about 8 hours to make. First, the chefs baked the cakes, coated them with cream and stacked them on top of each other, then trimmed them along the edges and in the center, giving the cake the shape of a donut with a hole in the middle, after which they poured pink icing to make the cake as similar as possible to a donut. On top of the icing, the cake is decorated with colored “sprinkles” that are as huge as the donut itself.
