At least ten people became victims of a powerful tornado that hit the eastern provinces of China, and more than five thousand were injured. The disaster destroyed several settlements, more than one and a half thousand houses were damaged, city streets were littered with fragments of roofs, debris of buildings and street structures, reports the “MIR 24” TV channel with reference to local media. All injured residents were taken to hospitals. Emergency services are working in the disaster zone. They were transferred to an enhanced work regime. To eliminate the consequences of the natural disaster, representatives of relevant local departments went to the scene.
