A Chinese woman tried to bring two dozen exotic animals from China to Hong Kong by hiding them in her clothes, writes “MIR 24”. The smuggler was detained at the Futian port in Guangdong, Shenzhen province by customs officers. They were attracted by the woman's strange gait. Upon inspection, it turned out that she was hiding 15 king and hog-nosed snakes, 4 giant yellow-legged centipedes and a lizard in her pockets and under her clothes around her waist and neck. The export of any exotic animals from China is prohibited by the country's legislation; transporting rare and protected species requires a special permit, which the woman detained at the port did not have. Now she faces a large fine and prison term.
